CEDERS (for « Centre de Recherche sur les Dynamiques et Politiques Économiques et l'Économie des Ressources ») is a research center attached to the Doctoral School of Economics and Management of Aix-Marseille. It has two primary missions – teaching and reseach.
The research programmes of CEDERS focus on the role of economic and financial policy in the growth and development processes. The traditional models cannot explain wholly the persistence of development gap and inability of certain countries to initiate the process of sustainable development. More insights are provided by the new theories of growth, which offer three principal causes – relative efficiency of public investment, human capital accumulation, and the terms economy financing. |
